What are Christmas Escape Rooms?

A Christmas escape room is a themed puzzle adventure that combines the festive spirit of the holidays with the excitement and challenge of a traditional escape room. When you enter a Christmas escape room, you step into a specially designed space that's been transformed to reflect the joy and magic of the Christmas season.

This could mean decorations like Christmas trees, lights, and holiday-themed props, setting the stage for a truly immersive experience. The objective in a Christmas escape room is similar to any escape room – to solve a series of puzzles and challenges within a set time limit, usually 60 minutes.

Welcome to our Christmas Season! At the Escape Room Alliance, we offer several experiences tailored to Christmas folklore, stories, all to offer you an incredible seasonal experience.

For the Christmas Season of 2024, we have five different rooms that are specially adapted for the holidays: Santa's Office, Escape the Medicrane, The Overgrown, and A Christmas Carol.

All of these rooms have had either their stories and games completely reworked, or Christmas decorations, lights, and fake snow added absolutely everywhere. We prize ourselves on our seasonal events, and our favorite one by far is Christmas.

Have a scary holiday with The Hide, or maybe enjoy some family fun a with The Overgrown and Escape The Medicrane (Soon to become Christmas with the Grinch)

We also have an immersive theatre show replacing Ghost Hunter at the Lake Forest Location called A Christmas Carol. Either way, we're sure to make this Christmas Season special for you and your loved ones!

My group and I had such a wonderful time visiting Escape Room Era, we tried out the "Christmas at Franklin's" room! Though it wasn't Christmas season, we gave the room a try and we were not disappointed. Kristen (our host) and her team were so welcoming and did a great job communicating through our time. We were able to complete the room with 4 minutes remaining.The decorations were so well thought out and I don't want t to spoil it but some of the decorations left me speechless, if you have kids or want to enjoy a non-horror/suspenseful themed room, "Christmas at Franklin's" is a great place to start!Will definitely be back!

As valedictorian, l've avoided detention-until now! Snoop through Principal Li's office to uncover his strange secrets in this quirky room ideal for very small groups. From report cards to microscopes, even the PA system plays a role in the mystery. Just between us, the drawer full of Twinkies isn't the biggest surprise! If a bad grade in school felt like the end of the world, this is the room for you.This room had such unexpected twists and fun moments which make it memorable. I've never been so excited to go back to school. Connor was our amazing game master (and more - if you know, you know).
